A very limited schedule
Our main teacher, David Jacobs, is currently recovering from an unfortunate accident which is why we have very limited offerings right now. We are hoping that he will be able to come back in April and will post his classes as soon as he is able to teach.
Saturday morning Intro-Continuing Class with Martine
This class is designed for people who have experience with yoga e but would like to review the fundamentals of yoga practice, be it asanas, breath, or sitting.
Tuition: $50 for the 5 week series.
Thursday Evening Ongoing Yoga (Martine Burat)
In this on-going class, participants continue to deepen their understanding and practice of all aspects of yoga (asanas, pranayama, philosophy, mantra, meditation).
Tuition: $75 for the 5 week series
Thursday Morning Continuing Yoga (David Jacobs)

Tuesday Evening Continuing Yoga for Seasoned Practitioners (David Jacobs)
The Tuesday night “sangha” consists of students who have practiced yoga at Upstate Yoga for many years. They have a skillful connection to the linking of body movement and breath and have experienced many postures and combinations/vinyasas. The class includes a sitting meditation.
Tuition: $75 for the 5 week series
Monday evening Continuing Yoga (David Jacobs)
This ongoing class continues to refine skills which were introduced previously. It can be attended by people who have experience with yoga in another setting. If you have not taken yoga with us before, please connect with us before registering. Our emphasis is still on teaching participants how to move into postures with proper breathing and modifications are presented so that every posture can serve each person in the best way possible.
Tuition is $75 for the 5 week Series.
Monday Morning Restorative Yoga (David Jacobs)
This is an ongoing gentle restorative series that is ideal for individuals who have health issues or limited mobility. Having difficulty getting down on the floor would not preclude participation. The guidance focuses on moving the body while being attentive to intentional breathing techniques. Observing one's breath and body in a slower step by step progression enables students to understand how to adapt postures more appropriately to meet their personal needs. The practice ends with a guided relaxation which has restorative and meditative potentials.
Tuition: $75 for the 5 week series
Saturday Intro-Continuing Yoga (with David)
This course can accommodate two kinds of yoga practitioners: those who have taken our Introductory Series in the past or those who have taken classes elsewhere but would like to try a practice involving proper breath engagement and refined adaptations for body type and constitution.
Tuition is $65 for the 5 week Series.
